Galeries Lafayette Doha website offers easy and straightforward ways to do your shopping. The most popular way is browsing from top to bottom using also the drop-down navigation method to filter your search based on your specific needs.

If you already know what you are looking for you can use the search button to find your item faster or get some suggestions for similar items if the item/brand you are looking for is no longer available.

When you find an item that you are interested in, you can select your size and either place it on your shopping bag or your wish list. You can continue your shopping or proceed to check out.

If an item is placed on your shopping bag or wish list but the purchase hasn’t been completed this doesn’t serve as reservation of the item.

Galeries Lafayette would like to provide all our customers with equal and fair opportunities to purchase our products and therefore we don’t accept any reservations.

Our check out process is very easy. You can create an account or checkout as guest. Your card will be charged only after the checkout is completed and you receive an order confirmation by us via e-mail. In this e – mail you will find information on how to follow and track your order until it has been received.

HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER

Placing an order is very easy at Galeries Lafayette Doha. You may start browsing on our website and when you find an item you are interested in, you may click on the “add to cart” option at the bottom of the image. You may choose to continue shopping by adding more items in your shopping bag or complete your order. To complete your order you may click on checkout and proceed with the payment in order to finalize your purchase.

SHIPPING

We offer shipping for all orders that have been placed at Galeries Lafayette Doha online store.

All orders are shipped from Saturday to Thursday 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

We don’t ship orders on Fridays or other official holidays. Ramadan shipping timings will be announced on our website separately.

Shipping hours and terms during holidays period or extraordinary circumstances such as lockdowns may change. Such changes will be posted on our website in the relevant section. If your orders are affected by such changes, our customer service team will keep you updated via e-mail. We invite customers who check out as guests to visit our website regularly for updates or create an account with us. You may also refer to our “Privacy Policy”.

All orders placed at Galeries Lafayette Doha online may be eligible for a free of charge delivery within 24 hours from the day your purchase was made. Orders below 750 QR are subject to a delivery fee. Your shipping cost will appear at the checkout.

We offer same day delivery for orders placed before 12pm. This doesn’t apply to the weekends and other official holidays.

Currently we do not ship orders internationally.

In case you miss your delivery, our carrier offers another two attempts. If the second and third are also missed your order will return to our warehouse and we will issue a refund.  If you still wish to order these items you may go to our website and place your order again. Such process does not guarantee the availability of the products.

In special cases we may be able to change the delivery address. For such changes you must contact directly our customer service team. Please take into consideration that such changes are subject to extra delivery and handling fees.

Services

We offer you a list of services that allow you to browse and make purchases in our Galeries Lafayette Doha website only. Part of our services include arranging the door to door delivery of the products you purchase, customer service as well as payment processing.

Please be aware that the delivery logistic service is provided to us by a third party with whom we have a contract by using our services and making purchases from our website which will be delivered to you by our partner, you agree to entering automatically into a contract for delivery services provided by us using the third party. For such services you may be charged and this cost will appear at the checkout and prior completing your purchases.

The contract between Galeries Lafayette and our customers starts the moment your orders have been delivered to your door or picked up by our click & collect point.

If we fail to comply with our terms and conditions while offering you our services, we are responsible for any damage or loss. However, we are not responsible for any failure caused by extraordinary circumstances such as governmental restrictions, lockdowns, natural catastrophes and other situations that are not foreseeable.

 

PRICING

Galeries Lafayette Doha is a renowned seller of authentic luxury products from across the globe. Prices are determined based on brand guidelines and local market specifications and additional costs. Therefore, it is possible to experience some price variances between different platforms and markets. We invite you to contact directly our Customer Service team in case you have any pricing concerns. Even though we don’t have control over pricing differences, we commit to giving you always the best possible price in our market.

All our prices are displayed in Qatari Riyals and all purchases shall be made in the same.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice. However, the displayed prices for every item will be the most updated.

Discounted prices will be displayed in red color with the original price displayed next to it. Our discounted prices will be mostly displayed as absolute numbers and not percentages.

Placing an item in your shopping bag or wish list doesn’t guarantee its availability or price. The actual price will be the one displayed on our website on the day the item has actually been purchased.

All our prices do not include additional cost for special services (alteration & gift wrapping), delivery, custom and VAT (whenever applicable). Such additional costs will be displayed at the final check out.

PAYMENTS

At Galeries Lafayette Doha online store we accept the following methods of payments:

·         COD (Cash on delivery)

Please note that when you choose COD (cash on delivery) as your method of payment you must pay the carrier in cash only. The carrier will not have a POS machine to facilitate payment by card. Such transactions can be made only online. COD payment is subject to an additional handling fee of 5 QR.

DELIVERY PERIODS

The delivery time for products which are purchased online for direct delivery to the customer or via click & collect may be extended during holiday periods or because of other unforeseen circumstances such as lockdowns and business operating restrictions due to pandemics (e.g. COVID19) or other extraordinary events usually considered as “Force Majeure”. During such circumstances our customer service team will keep you updated during every step until your purchase is delivered.
