Anastasia Beverly Hills visits Galeries Lafayette Doha

Much to the delight of make-up lovers in Qatar, beauty entrepreneur Anastasia Soare visited the new Galeries Lafayette Doha store in 21 High st – the ultimate shopping destination – at Katara Cultural Village on March 28, 2019.

The CEO and founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills visited the brand’s counter in Galeries Lafayette Doha and conducted a special make-up training class for her staff members.

A beauty pioneer, creative visionary and powerhouse entrepreneur, Anastasia also delivered an inspirational speech and said: “Makeup has this incredible, transformative power to boost confidence, inspire creativity, and be personal to each and every user. Nothing ever gets launched that we are not completely in love with ourselves. Creating products that resonate with you, become integrated into your routines and into your lives has always been the reason I do this.”

The legend, Johnny Depp, visits Galeries Lafayette Doha to meet a group of differently abled kids

During his recent trip to Qatar, versatile actor Johnny Depp paid a visit to Galeries Lafayette Doha in 21 High st at Katara Cultural Village on March 28, 2019. The legend was invited there to meet a group of children with special needs.

The Hollywood star was personally greeted upon arrival by his friends, the Chairman & President of Ali Bin Ali Holding, Mr. Adel Ali Bin Ali, and Vice-Chairman & EVP of Ali Bin Ali Holding, Mr. Nabeel Ali Bin Ali. Hundreds of Johnny Depp’s fans were waiting for a glimpse of their favorite star and cheered as he waved at them.

Mr. Adel Ali Bin Ali welcomed the actor and said, “We are delighted to be able to host the international star and friend Johnny Depp. It has been a very special rendezvous which was made even more memorable by the kids. Depp has a heart of gold and we are touched by his sensitivity towards each child.”

Depp shared some exclusive time with the kids at the ‘La Suite’ in Galeries Lafayette Doha. The private penthouse was decorated with posters of the superstar to set the mood. He cuddled each and every child and interacted with them individually. In his own signature style, he surprised the kids and spread love and happiness.

“Kids make me happy. I feel blessed if I can bring a smile on their pretty faces”, Depp said.

Depp is perhaps one of the most versatile actors of his time in Hollywood. He has been nominated for 10 Golden Globe Awards, winning one for Best Actor for his performance in the title role of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008).
