Although all of our calf leathers have been treated with water protection products, they have a natural finish so over exposure to water should be avoided. Should the product get wet, please remove any residual water with a dry cloth and allow it to dry naturally. The natural finish of our leathers gives them a soft and luxurious feel. Should the leather get scratched or worn you can apply leather cream (natural or coloured depending on the colour of your bag) to areas. Then polish them with a dry cloth to enhance its natural shine and remove any traces before use. Please try first on a small surface on the base of the bag or somewhere not visible to make sure the leather cream you use is the right colour and has the right finish. It's not advisable to use leather creams on matte leathers as leather creams often create a slightly shiny effect. For light colours please avoid contact with clothing with strong dyes such as dark jeans as they may stain the leather when rubbed against the fabric. Use a soft dry cloth to remove any loose dirt.
